Marge Monday: Webcam Surprise

Technically, this image is not the most accurately rendered Marge, but creatively, it's spot-on. Any great image should not only depict a pivotal moment frozen in time, but should also be layered with the implication of what happened leading up to that moment and project the scene into the future. This image captures all three layers of time. It also does it in such a creative way with such a simple background, and the cue to the whole story being an audio element. A lesser concept would have been a split-screen, or having to tell the story in a triptych. Yet, the whole concept is captured in one frame, and the audience is allowed to fill in the scene of Bart at his computer in his room.

How funny. Kudos.
