Ski Game

During the Great Depression, people didn't have a lot of money, but did have time. A health movement originating in Europe, mostly Germany, came to the US. Skiing was one sport that came from Europe, and began to gain popularity among a young generation.

The nudist movement had its roots in this larger health and sports recreation movement. The advocates claimed that the human body was beautiful and natural and, matched with healthy outdoor activity, a wonderful thing.

As such, it's not hard to imagine a group of young adults taking skis up to the mountain, and hiking up the slope, taking off their clothes, and inventing fun games to fill the afternoon.
