Morning Wake Up

Usually, she wakes up first. She has energy in the morning and wants to get up, get going. He's a slug in the morning. He moans, groans, and continues to sleep. Yet, he has morning wood tenting in his boxers. She's learned that if she takes things into her own hands, she can jumpstart his morning.

American Apparel, See-Thru BodySuit

As a 100% non-commercial blog, we don't endorse any product or company. However, we have been inspired to give props this Valentine's Day to American Apparel.

First, because they made the bold move to put pubic hair and colored-nipples on their window mannequins in their store in Manhattan's Lower East Side. And secondly, this image below. It's right off their website. Unashamed, unappolgetic. A model with nipples and pubic hair. And, we might add, not a lot of makeup, bleached hair, or fake breasts. Compared to a retailer like Victoria Secret, for example, I'll take this any day.

Added bonus: for Valentine's, she's shaped her pubes into a heart. So cute, so sexy.

Can one image on a retailer's website change the negative body image and shaming of natural women's bodies in American society today? No.

Is it a step in the right direction that no other major retailers have dared to take? Absolutely.

Valentine's Day Surprise

Here's another great image that demonstrates that the idea of grooming one's pubic patch into a heart for Valentine's is a classic move. Add some sexy see-through lingerie and that's a recipe for sexy success.

Tribute to Memorial Day! And Introducing to Motorcycle Monday

Well, it's Memorial Day and for us Americans, that means barbecue, beer, and getting together with family and friends.

It's the kick-off to summer. For motorcycle enthusiasts in the more northern areas--New England, the Great Lakes, the Rockies, and the rainy NW... Memorial Day brings the promise of riding weather.

It's time to dust off the choppers, baggers, customs, Sportsters, Cafe Racers, and even scooters. Give 'em a good wash, change out the fluids, check the tire pressure, and get those v-twins fired up.

Oh yeah, and while you're at it. Ask your favorite riding partner to strike a pose on your ride and send it to us at sexysexblog@ gmail.

Just for this summer, we're kicking off a fun new feature to inspire the start of your work week: Motorcycle Monday.

Here's to freedom, and those who sacrificed so we could enjoy it today. Both of my Grandfathers fought in WWII, just ages 17 and 18. This is what they were fighting for: the girl they left behind. The woman they would marry and raise a family. And that family would have a family. Like me.

A lot of their buddies never came home. Today we remember.

Luck of the Irish

If you have an Irish friend, reach out to them today. Help them celebrate. (I know I will...)

Always After Me Pot o' Gold

A popular saying attributed to Leprechauns--or maybe just the little guy from Lucky Charms--is that everyone os always after their pot o' gold. Well, if you had a pot o' gold like Julia, could you blame them?

I don't know what I love most about this Dear Reader submission: the painted-on shamrock pasties...the shamrock garter... with the cute matching bow tie... the pot o' gold at the end of the mythological rainbow...

or maybe, in addition to all this holiday silly fun, is that fact that the bondage restraints on the headboard get such regular use, that Julia and her partner just leave them up, and don't even seem to realize (or care) that they are in the photo. The bondage straps add an unintentional layer and insight into Julia's sex life. Which, as far as I can tell, is indeed magical.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, from Alissa

Another sexy submission from one of our Dear Readers. Cheers!

Happy St. Patrick's Day, from Jessica

Jessica wants to wish all Dear Readers a happy St. Patrick's Day. What kind of fun are you having this fine Sunday?

Who say you have to be in a pub to celebrate? Plenty of Irish spirit here.

The Wearing of the Green

Each year, on March 17th, you're supposed to wear green. Or, as I learned in elementary school, be pinched.
We Americans have been celebrating the annual celebration of Irish heritage (or mass public drunkenness, depending on your point of view) since the late 18th Century--ie, about as long as we've been a country.

Originally, the color associated with Saint Patrick was blue. But, over the years, the color green has become synonymous with Saint Patrick's Day.

Green ribbons and shamrocks were worn in celebration of St Patrick's Day as early as the 17th century. Saint Patrick himself is said to have used the three-petal shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to the "pagan" Irish.

Today, wearing green and displaying shamrocks has become a ubiquitous part of the holiday.

The phrase "the wearing of the green," meaning to wear a shamrock on one's clothing, derives from a song of the same name.

Are you wearing green today?
