So it's the last weekend of ski season here in the Colorado Rockies. Rocks and twigs are showing through the slushy snow. But these final days, when most have called it quits weeks ago, are perfect for a slower, more relaxed pace. In the noon-time sun, the sky is bright, and the snow reflects, making a 38 degree day at 11,000 feet feel like a 75 degree day at the beach. A perfect time to slid over a secluded knoll and have a little sun break.
