Homer secretly stashed his stack of Playdude for years, until Marge discoveres them and forces Homer to get rid of them. Homer insists that he's been keeping them "for the articles," so Marge concedes to allow Homer to keep his collection, if he clips out all of the girlie images. After doing so, Homer realizes that he really didn't read Playdude for the articles and tosses the magazines in the trash, where they are soon discovered by Bart and his pal Millhouse. 
Inspired by the swingin' stylings of the Playdude life, Bart renovates his tree housedecides to adopt the "ring-a-ding-ding" Playdude lifestyle. Actor James Caan guest-stars.
