Here are two women that of totally different generations, yet embody a similar beauty. Sophia was born in Italy in 1934. She's won Academy Awards, and is often ranked in the top 20 Most beautiful women of all time. She is synonymous with "International sex symbol." The other young lady is Erica. She's 18, or so. From Tenessee. Has a blog. Dyes her hair, experiments with personal fashion. Like all teenage American girls. One fashion she seems to have embraced is not shaving, like Sophia. She notes on her Tumblr that she loses followers when she shows a image of her furry underarms. That's too bad.
These two photos are separated by at least 50 years, but just goes to show that fashion is always cyclical. And beauty standards are not always, and should not, be defined only by the haters.
